ACTING AND AUDITION TUITION
One-on-one acting and audition tuition for adults, young adults, teens and children to help you achieve your full potential.
I currently co-lead the Part Time Foundation Acting Course at ArtsEd, where I also used to co-run their Saturday School. I am a visiting Lecturer in Acting and Scene Study at BIMM's IC Theatre, oversee the Acting and Acting Through Song schemes of work at Be.Training in Kent where I am also lead acting and acting through song tutor, and have worked as a private acting and audition coach for the past 6 years.
I have worked with students ranging in ages from 7-30+ and over the years the students I have tutored privately have gained places at top UK Drama Schools and Conservatoires such as East 15, ArtsEd, Rose Bruford, Performers College, Bird and LAMDA. As well as internationally at places like NYU Tisch. I have helped students get into vocational day school and 6th form training at institutions like ArtsEd's Day School and Sixth Form, Sylvia Young and the recently closed Italia Conti Day School, helped students receive top marks in their LAMDA exams, and assisted actors in preparing auditions for jobs landing in the West End and the Film/TV industry.
ACTING
COACHING
Aimed at those wanting to work on an individual basis to explore their acting further and improve their ability, whether the experience is limited or extensive. The sessions are tailored to the individual student with the objective of boosting confidence, improving technique and striving for a grounded and authentic acting style and approach. Whether you want to work on material for your professional career or to explore acting and all it's facets in a no-pressure environment, these sessions are for you.
AUDITION PREPARATION
For those students that want to work specifically on their audition preparation. This may be to ready a student for a school, college or 6th form audition or maybe it is for a professional audition. Either way, be the most prepared you can be with these sessions and help bring your speeches and/or scenes off the page and bring your characters to life.
DRAMA SCHOOL PREPARATION
These sessions are specifically for students aged 18+ who are wanting to get into Drama School or Conservatoire training and want help choosing, exploring and preparing their audition pieces and interview technique. We will cover the basics of monologue and text work, set a plan of attack for the preparation in the months leading up to the auditions and work on speeches. It can be a daunting process, but I went through it, have coached others through it and promise to help you to feel your most confident.
